Isaiah 40:8-10

New International Version

⁸ The grass withers and the flowers^(A) fall,
    but the word^(B) of our God endures^(C) forever.^(D)”

⁹ You who bring good news^(E) to Zion,
    go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem,^[a](F)
    lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
    say to the towns of Judah,
    “Here is your God!”^(G)
10 See, the Sovereign Lord comes^(H) with power,^(I)
    and he rules^(J) with a mighty arm.^(K)
See, his reward^(L) is with him,
    and his recompense accompanies him.
